Privacy Policies
Celestial Navigations Pte Ltd. (the “Company”) shall respect the privacy of persons (“Customers”) who use “WEL-KIDS PHOTO” (the “Service”) and shall manage the personal information of Customers with the utmost care.

Collection of personal information and scope of use thereof
In acquiring personal information from Customers, the Company shall obtain the Customer’s consent by clearly specifying the purpose of use of such personal information or providing notification to the Customer on necessary matters.

Purpose of use of personal information
Personal information collected from Customers shall not be used for any purpose other than the following. If the Company uses the same for any purpose other than the following, the Company shall obtain the Customer’s consent by clearly specifying the purpose of use of such personal information or providing notification to the Customer on necessary matters.
- 1) Personal authentication in using the Service and automatic display of Member’s Information on various screens;
- 2) Sending a product relating to the Service;
- 3) Answering inquiries about the Service (by e-mail, mail, phone, etc.);
- 4) Settling the bill for an ordered product;
- 5) Delivering e-mails which enable Customers to invite their families and friends to the Service and authorizing such invitation;
- 6) Providing information and communicating by questionnaires and campaigns;
- 7) Providing the same to the entity which adopts the Service and to which a Customer belongs (“Adopting Body”);
- 8) Giving notice by e-mail on announcements, etc. from an Adopting Body to which a Customer belongs;
- 9) Producing photographs and videos;*
- 10) Responding to activities which violate the Company’s Terms of Use, policies, etc. regarding the Service;
- 11) Creating statistical data processed into a form in which no specific individual can be identified in relation to the Company’s services;
- 12) Distributing or displaying the Company’s or any third party’s advertisements;
- 13) Doing research and development of functions for Customers by machine learning and providing the functions;
- 14) Using the same for marketing other than the foregoing; and
- 15) Using the same for any purposes incidental to the foregoing.
- *Where materials such as photographs and videos are provided either by a Customer directly to the Company or by an Adopting Body to which the Customer belongs.

Prohibition on disclosure and provision of personal information to third parties
The Company shall appropriately manage the personal information collected by Customers, and shall not disclose or provide the same to any third party except in cases where the disclosure is approved based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations, as well as cases which fall under any of the following instances where:
- 1) Personal information is provided to the manager of an Adopting Body to which a Customer belongs;
- 2) The Customer’s consent has been obtained;
- 3) The handling of personal information is entrusted, within the scope of the purposes of use clearly specified to the Customer, to cooperating companies and subcontractors with which the Company has executed non-disclosure agreements regarding personal information;
- 4) Personal information is provided accompanied by business transfer due to merger or other grounds; and
- 5) Personal information is processed into statistical data in a form in which no specific individual Customers can be identified.
The management of images, etc. collected mainly by an Adopting Body and posted or sent to the Service shall be performed at the responsibility of such Adopting Body. The Company takes security measures with respect to such posted or sent images, etc. in order to secure their accuracy and safety, whether or not they are personal information, and responds to demands for deletion, change, etc. by such Adopting Body.
■Disclaimer on provision to third parties
Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the following cases the Company may disclose and provide the personal information collected from a Customer to the following parties, and the Customer shall consent to such disclosure and provision:
- 1) A customer discloses his/her name or his/her child’s name to an Adopting Body to which the Customer belongs;
- 2) The Company discloses a Customer’s name to the Adopting Body to which a member of the Service who invited the Customer belongs;
- 3) The Company discloses a Customer’s name to a member who invited such Customer to the Service;
- 4) A customer himself/herself discloses, to any third party, by using a function of the Service or other means, images which the Customer himself/herself posted or sent to the Service;
- 5) A customer himself/herself is unexpectedly identified by information input to the Service and a third party thereby obtains the personal information of such Customer; or
- 6) If a Customer’s name is released as a poster or an editor due to a function of the Service when the Customer posts or sends an image to the Service.

Voluntary nature of provision of personal information
Personal information from Customers shall be provided on a voluntary basis. Please note, however, that if a Customer does not provide necessary information, such Customer may not be able to use various services, etc. in the Services (e.g. failure to provide a delivery address may result in failure to send the product). Although notification e-mails from the Service are automatically set to be received at the time of membership registration, the setting of receiving notification e-mails may be changed on the setting screen after logging into the Service.

Establishment of provisions on protection of personal information
The Company establishes provisions (a management system) on the protection of personal information, implements the same by familiarizing its employees therewith, and improves the same continuously.

Compliance with laws and regulations and rules
In handling personal information, the Company complies with laws and regulations and other rules applicable to the protection of personal information. The Company also applies its provisions on personal information protection in compliance with such laws and regulations and other rules.

Implementation of safety measures
In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, the Company endeavors to prevent and remedy unauthorized access to personal information, as well as loss, destruction, falsification, divulgence, etc. of personal information.

Matters regarding procedures for responding to demands for disclosure, etc.
The Company will respond to demands from an individual Customer or his/her agent for disclosure, correction, addition, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to any third party with regard to his/her personal data owned by the Company based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Please contact the Company’s contact point for complaints and consultation with regard to the Service.

Process of withdrawal from membership and handling of personal information thereafter
The personal information of a Customer who no longer uses the Service shall be deleted from the database after the elapse of the term provided for by the Company in the event of a withdrawal from membership by an Adopting Body to which the Customer belongs or a request by the Customer himself/herself; provided, however, that the minimum information necessary for the operation of the Service (e.g. information regarding which the Company has an obligation to respond to an inquiry from a settlement agent company about the use of the card, such as a purchase history)* may be retained for a certain period of time.
*This information is information on when the products were purchased, and does not contain information such as the card number, etc. used for the settlement. -
Contact point for inquiries and complaints
The Company’s contact point for complaints and consultation with regard to the Service accepts Customers’ demands for inquiries about their personal information or inquiries about the ‘Privacy Policy’ for the Service. The Company will respond to inquiries promptly, to the extent reasonable.

Cookies and web beacons
In order to provide Customers with better services, some pages of the Service may use cookies and web beacons. If a Customer wishes to avoid the collection of his/her information, it is possible for the Customer to refuse to receive cookies by changing the settings of their Internet browsing software (browser). Please note that if a Customer does not use cookies, it may be impossible for such Customer to use part of the functions, such as an inquiry form. For more information on how to set the browser, please contact the developer of the respective software.

Remarketing advertisement
In order to provide Customers with further qualified services, the Service uses the remarketing function of online advertisements conducted by third party distributors, including Google (“Third Party Distributors”). Therefore, there is a possibility that Third Party Distributors may distribute advertisements based on information of past accesses to websites by using cookies. Customers may disable the use of cookies by accessing the opt-out pages of the Third Party Distributors. Information on cookies etc. obtained by Third Party Distributors shall be handled in accordance with the privacy policies of such Third Party Distributors.

Revisions
The Company may revise this “Privacy Policy” in accordance with changes to the purposes of use, improvement of safety, or revisions of applicable laws and regulations or rules, etc. Please note that the details of any important change will be notified to Customers in an easily understandable manner.

Special Note with respect to Children
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to or intended to be used by children under the age of 13 (“Children”). The Company understands the necessity to protect children’s online privacy, and the Company does not knowingly collect any personal information from Children. If, however, you believe that the Company has collected any personal information from Children, please let the Company know via contact point for complaints and consultation with regard to the Service. If the Company learns that it has inadvertently collected personal information from Children, the Company will deactivate the relevant account(s) and will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such personal information from its records.
